I have decided not to purchase this product because the few customers who got a defective or short lived product did not get satisfaction from Amazon or Iomega. I am not willing to risk the expense. If you get a defective product, you should have all costs covered to ship it back and get a NEW product back — depending on usage.

We anticipated a use for having an external hard drive to store all our pictures, but haven’t really gotten started as yet, so don’t have an opinion as yet.
